The Locality

Cnoc Suain is located in the Conamara Gaeltacht (Irish/ Gaelic speaking region) on the Mountain Road between the villages of An Spidéal (Spiddal) and Maigh Cuilinn (Moycullen). With its spectacular views, the local area is favoured by walkers and cyclists alike.

The picturesque coastal fishing village of An Spidéal has two beaches, a scenic coastal walk, a craft village and café, and the Irish fashions, knitwear and gift store Standún, just a 7-minute drive from Cnoc Suain.

Restaurants, cafés, pubs, supermarkets, pharmacies, and gas stations are available in both villages.
